The 1965 Commemoration Committee invites you to a forum

Indonesia: The Forgotten Genocide

The 1965 Commemoration Committee – Netherlands invites you to a forum on the massacres perpetrated by the Suharto military dictatorship from 1965 onwards. Despite the so-called restoration of democracy after the fall of Suharto in May 1998, the victims and their families continue to be denied justice. The perpetrators of the massacres have not been punished. The civil rights of many of the surviving victims and their families remain curtailed and have yet to be fully restored. It is the aim of the 1965 Commemoration Committee to generate international solidarity for the Indonesian people in their quest for justice and restitution.
